A few inches of white stuff in Bristol.
3 minutes 'late' into the office (6.23am) - amazing how you can get here if you are on a no work no pay contract!
Permies still to appear, office full of subbies, bliss :-0)

only about 3inches in north bristol. I'm only home cos I'm too much of a wimp to try the twenty mile journey from south bristol to the A361 near Shepton Mallet. Apparently there is 12 - 14 inches in Frome and similar around Crnamore (closest village to work). Don't mind going across Bristol cos I could walk home if I got stuck. But not so keen on trying the rest of the way - it is a main route (A37) but after getting stuck on the A37 last year, I'm not so positive! And its too far to walk home this year!

Sooooooo I'm stopping here today! :yo:

As we aren't busy and can't ship anything (local haulier isn't hauling today!!) and I feel like death warmed up, I don't mind my halo not gleaming   (Besides - its three inches here - apparently that makes LOTS of difference :-0):-0):-0):-0))

Within 15 mins of the snow starting here, my daughter phoned to say the school had been closed - the teachers must have been on starting blocks waiting for it to snow! Wonder how many kids get left behind in the unholy rush to close up and go home? lol

I remember going to primary school on foot in shorts when it was snowing. I can't remember the schools ever being closed because it had snowed. And that was in scotland when it snowed every year.
