Bird vs 03 r1

Hey all
Was out on the weekend for a ride with the birds (bb and girl on pillion)gearsack on the back all so.So im cruisin along a nice curvy road and i spot a headlight comin up behind me at a fair pace so i move over and a 03 r1(led tail light)with a cbr 400 up his ass go blasting past.Mmmm mind ticks over and down goes the gear lever,thinkin i will have a bit of fun with emR#? These guys were tryin there hardest to beat each other and i was stickin with em.Was gunna take them but the old 012/020 combo was just not up to it, ending up sliding in most corners.Damn it was fun givin the boy racers a hurry up!!!LOL

Not only is the 0-100 time less, but so is the 0-60... And the top speed is higher for the Bird too ..
And as one last bonus bit, the R1 is lucky to return an average of 33MPG against the Bids average of 42 !

the bloke on the CBR 400 doesn't need

a bigger bike.

I can just see his post CBR 400 victorious in R1 / Blackbird battle

Yep you did miss it abit gatso.Most of the road was 50kmh corners,with short straights.I dont think i went over 200kmh.So the 400 should have been the bike to be on.Must say the r1 rider was smooth but didnt move around on the bike at all and the 400 rider was just outa control tryin so hard i was givin him abit of room to crash
