Just thinking aloud at this stage...

I wondered about having a bit of a "get-together" fro Christmas in December... Looking at a meeting to take in the Bath Christmas markets which are supposed to be pretty fabulous.

I had thought the weekend starting Friday 11th December & leaving on Sunday 13th December would be most suitable, although I could go a week either side if preferred..

Doubt we would be able to make it Dave ( its about 210 miles from here plus woman likes to spend the pre-krimble weekends doing pre-krimble things aound the house ! ) but ...............

If you want to take in the markets you will be a bit disapointed mate.. Google Bath Christmas markets.. They end on Dec 9th :xm

That's about the only free weekend we have between now and Christmas, so it may be possible.........

Also another camping and caravanning club opportunity is New Years Eve at Ogri. Free camping, just a charge for the party.

Dunno mate :dunno:

Its the same for motorhomes, caravans & tents, so I would imagine it will be the same, sorry

I will leave it up over the weekend, and if no real interest, I will call it off...It was a bit short notice anyway for most peeps...

Sadly, Jan is working New Years eve, so we wont be able to attend darling... Real pity, as I would have liked to spend time with friends

Hope you have a wonderful time.

Perhaps you would have a better response, if you posted it on a caravan forum and not a motorbike forum.

Even you could surely grasp that one :rolleyes:

I was going to put some witty comment about being a Fireblade rider on a Blackbird forum, but you just aint worth it :p...

So.

Ya see, there is no helping some people.

I merely thought you would get a better response among like minded people.

Never mind eh. And its good to see the caravan bird club is as popuar as ever.

In that case... Many thanks...

I did last week. And. It did over the weekend...

Its just this site I cancelled it off...

It would have been nice to meet up with some friends off here, but it was rather a late posting, and folks probably already have plans made...

Maybe similar to the BIRD boat club.

or

The Bird Fireblade club

Thanks for your help anyway Martin.

We'd have come, but I'm sure that's no surprise to some. Just to save him the bother of saying it.

Looks like we might be giving Europe a miss this year.. Woman wants to do America and a mate has found a way to cross from west coast to east coast in a rented motorhome or RV for just £100 !! There are firms that arrange drivers to shift RV's around.. So everyone wins
We have been saving air miles for 6 years and should have enough to get free flights to LA..
Grab an RV and start a 3 week, 3000 mile adventure !

Might try and arrange it around NEXXT so we can meet up with Joe ( Rockmeup ), John ( Florida John ) and a few of the other guys :-0)
