Maybe his front tyre was flat and he was bouncing, not flashing. There should also be car awareness for learner riders, coming off our Estate this morning, clocked a scooter with L plate on front mudguard, I had plenty of time so I pulled out, next thing I heard a faint buzzing, looked in the mirror & noticed he was flashing his headlight even though he was still several car lengths behind me, he obviously thought I’d not seen him.
Because I am a safe & courteous driver.I've seen Derek's driving, he will have left PLENTY of room between him pulling out and the scooter rider, about a fag papers thickness.
That’s what I said but not in such a long winded way.Equally I would suggest that motorised cycle riders who do not drive a car should receive training about the issues car drivers face, not least situational awareness (or lack of) when a motorised cycle is coming in their direction. And what it is like for a driver turning right out of a side street through traffic.
It's not what you saiD - you were specifically moaning about some poor soul almost getting knocked off by you. That’s what I said but not in such a long winded way.
