Cans look good, especially on a black'un...really suit it...

Marge... what a cutie... We should start a thread for owners 'family', pets or wifes or husbands. I am sure we have all got good pics of all of them, embarrassing or not...

Thanks mate, I have just got a spare swing arm i bought off Ebay back from the powder coater. I got it to match the frame and will make the majority of the bike black! Cant wait to get it fitted!

Good idea about the pics section! Even pics of ourselves so it gives an idea who we are talkin to!

Hey Turbonut, actually i did! Chris Mandeville! I just checked! Is it you?

DnD, I bought the cans from busters who were doing a clearance for ages, they are actually listed for an X11, but after asking the good lads on here, was informed they would be the same! I picked them up for ?250 all in, bargain really! The carbon fibre weave is beautiful!

BLACKbird

Hi there'

So thats what mine would look like clean. Black is the only colour for a bird. I would like too see what the black swing arm looks like as I have a spare at home.

The only thing you are missing is a set of black frame plugs, I think JAWS does them, quite cheap (for what they are) and would make ALL the difference...
This is mine, they would look even better on yours, coz of all the black...

Paddy, if you want a pic posted of just the swing arm let me know, i wont have it fitted till the end of July though as im heading to Espana on her! (on the bike by the way, not the swing arm before the smart arses start on me!!)

Chris, good thinking, would look well! Must get on and get a price! Just left a set of rear hangers in to get powder coated too! Where did you get your front peg hangers mate? They dont look standard! will be looking out for a spare pair sometime to finish off the look!

Well, these were made for me by a friend, he copied something, but I am not sure what, I can try and find out for you if you like, but they are not so comfy for touring, they are a bit high...! (Also , they are not adjustable... I think Gilles do adjustable black, I have gilles clip ons fitted in black...........%$fan

Ofcourse, just thought, just powder coat some standard ones.........:yo:

Wish I had known you wanted the lot... I had spare swing arm, clip ons, rearsets (front and rear) forks, wheels, all perfectly good, I just changed them... You could have sent EVERYTHING away for blacking...!

Don't have anything left now....:violin:

SHEEEIIIT!!! Oh well, one will pop up at sometime! If i sent my own now, i suppose i could cable tie a brush handle or somethin under the bike that would tie me over in Spain! Have a nice whittle on the ends of them!

Use bent wood, you could push it in one side, through and out the other... that way it would be strongerThe rear ones are much easier, spokeless wheels are needed though...
