Really big thanks to John for organising everything with his normal flair and expertise, and of course to everyone else who contributed. It was nice to meet new and refresh old friends.

The Thetford BASH is dead, long live the BASH.

Awesome ride out!!!

Really enjoyed Saturdays ride out (IT ROCKED!!), shame it's the last Bash, and it was nice to meet all you fellow bikers. We really were a Crazy Train!!!
Learned a thing or two about cleaning the bird as well, so that'll come in handy in a year or two!!

Jaws is a true legend!!!

Bash With A Splash

Thanks to Jaws and everybody else who helped organise things. Silverfox for a great ride out and Lumpy for the trophys. I loved the trophy I got, it just shows how little taste you lot have got (Lumpy yer feckin colourblind all those reds match perfectly lol). Shame about the weather, the ride home was very wet and cold. It's a shame that it's the last Bash AT THETFORD, but think we have all relied on JAWS too much over the past few years and expected him to organise things. Now it's time for all of us lot to get off out backsides and start organising things to do.
The Blackbird Bash is us not the place where it is held and it can only continue to run if we make it!

Including the trophy I suppose? Whoever said that the facts mattered here:k and I don't think it was my final decision anyway

Good to chat to you on Friday, I didn't get cold on the way back until Thetford either.

The SOSB, EOSB, Mudlands meets, and even my meetings down here ensure that people get to meet each other. The BASH at Thetford has run it's course for now, but only for now. It is up to the forum community, as you said, to make the effort to meet people and organise things as too long has everyone relied on the few to organise things. Bi-annually at Thetford, alternate years somewhere else maybe?

It does take a lot of sortig out, and a lot of effort, even for small meetings, some people can't be arsed, but are happy to whinge that nothing goes on. This will always be the case.

Thanks to John, and Bert, and others too, the Thetford BASH has been a success. The first 2 I went to were heaving. Peoiple, even the small number on Friday, still huddle in their little cliques instead of mingling much. Fair play to the Vodka King for irritiating the fook outta people (he calls it being sociable) bl4hbl4h

I thought it was worth it to ride up and blast back. It was good to meet people (apart from Uncle Fester, he was a knob:k) and to give the Bird a good run.

PS. Long live the Blackbird Car Club.

B.I.R.D (Blackbird International Riders and Drivers)
Well said that man, the community is what we make of it, warts and all!

Hats off to the few that bother to organise events, and those that attend them. Jaws, don't be down, you can't dictate the weather, that's the luck of the draw. I'd have been happy to camp in the rain had it not been for the expense of next week's party leaving us with no spare cash for the bash. It's only water, after all.

BTW, who's Uncle Fester?

You Twat, we weren't in cliques we were just trying to hide from you. All got together once you'd gone :} :} :}

Big Thanks from me

I really enjoyed it again, sorry I couldn't stay longer.
The only plus of going early was getting back before the real rain came, I beat it by 5 mins back to Yarmouth :yo: and it hasn't stopped since.

Thanks John for the event, this one really did cost you the shirt off your back !

Another cracking bash, with happy people, and the weather did'nt stop everyone from having a great time, Stu your a very brave man... but at least we all seranaded you.

Thank you those that did say and those that have said how much you enjoyed the ride out, and Bunny for deciding a warm bath was more fun ( I bet it was).

Hopefully (quote from Lumpy) we can make it a bi-annual Norfolk Bash, I'm looking forward to the Belgium and EOSB (If someones organising it).

Great to see both those I know and those I did'nt. For those that could'nt stay the Sunday night, sorry but you missed a pukka time and a real Bash get together..

   Thank you one and all.

Thanks again John & co for another cracking BASH + all the fun loveing folks that turned what could of been a damp wash-out into a ball of laffs from start to finish k1ap .

OK hands up time 'we did go in the car' the bike was packed & ready to go Fri/morning but we had a last minuet change of plan after seeing the latest forecast fl4g71
but if it makes you feel any better I still got wet on the way home, well at least I was warm

:violin: Feel a bit sad that was the last Thetford Bash but I don't think they'll forget us in a hurry

But hopefully a new venue will encourage more interest to what's always been a top weekend for us :yo:

Thanks

A big huge thanks to Jaws for making the time and organising the Bash. It's a shame that more club members 3ck04 can not make the time for supporting someone who is so passionate about our club and support the Main man in the same way as he does for us .Without him you wouldn't have one!!!
Anyway, great to see old and new faces. We all made the best of the weather and Ally and i enjoyed ourselves as we usually do !!!Sorry we had to leave early but we dont do the wet very well. What a ride home !!!Hope you all made it home safe ?

Also a big thanks to Mo and Daryl,Paul and Emma(the burger King and Queen)for keeping us fed well,Camo(the security man)All the staff of Thetford Rugby Club and all of you that came.
