just been looking on the "corbin" web site, direct from the factory they cost 1099 dollers, dunno the exchange rate, but I think they compare well with new kappa and similar "box" type even on "looks" :puke: alone, it dosnt look like you could use a "top" box on it at the same time though!! as the lid's open from the back,!! I may be wrong though!!

that's not too bad in comparison, (for new stuff) I must admit I'm NOT a fan of "hard" luggage, so wont be buying this type of stuff, however they do look better than the usual "scaffolding" and stuck on boxes,

Over the years I've tried all sorts of luggage. IMHO the hard luggage is the best way to keep things secure and dry. I tend not to use a top box much though as I find on every bike I've had the top box is the one thing that def can cause instability.

I use Givi wing rack + keyless panniers and it stays fine at speed.

However, I agree that the metal work is not exactly discreet. I'm in the process of sorting out the indicator wiring so I can swap it quickly from standard to wingrack. Once that's done it's a ten minute job to swap over.
Tank bag for days out light loads etc.

:yo:

Ian, guess what??

I would love to have done the trip on a PAN, the Bird was superb but i think the PAN would have been ideal.
