..on the Bird today around the North Notts area. Hardly saw a single bike until a Red BMW tourer thingy hove into view in the rear view mirrors catching fast (and I wasn't hanging about) I noticed the white flip front lid, the high Viz jacket, the aerials all over it and the way he was handling that big old bus, so I backed off, just in case. Next set of lights he beetles along side with his stereo blasting (Abba unless I miss my guess) lifts his Visor, snicks first, winks at me and disappeared over the Horizon on the Road north up towards Doncaster. I let him go, just in case. And I'm still not sure if he was plod or not!:dunno:
Still, I got a great 80 miles in on nearly empty, dry roads in a decent temperature for this time of year, although I did put my new heated grips on just so I could say I've used em (been on since September and not needed them yet! Back in the cage tomorrow for work, sure will feel slow going up the A1 in that... ah well. :bang:
