My neighbour had an old (1982) Yamaha XJ650 in his back garden, its been standing for about 3 years, anyway was talking to him today about me getting winter hack, and laying up the Blackie, he says take the Yammy, how much? says I, nothing he said, have it, I wont do anything with it so you might as well have it. Needless to say I took it 
It does need some work doing to it, as in front brakes are shagged, or there is no oil in em. Front fork seals are leaking, new battery needed, plus anything else i find as I go.
So does anyone know of a good web site for old Yammy spares? The bike is shaft driven by the way, is it a goodish bike as a hack??
Or shall I cut it up and turn it into a cruiser?? man8um
