WELL i arrived at about 1.30 pm,better late than never,never seen so many scramblers in me life, the sound and smell was awesome,the weather was warm and pleasant, not quite in the 80s,would i go again,ABSOLOUTELY,but might arrive a teensy weensy bit earlier next time, (LIKE SATURDAY), but i will be there next year,took some great pikkys,and then dropped me digi camera, and now the bloody thing wont turn on!!!! any1 out there good at CAMERA REPAIRS,drop me a line HOW ABOUT YOU JAWS? YOUR A JACK OF ALL TRADES........................

Gee, regarding your camera check the pins in the battery compartment, I had a problem with mine after the EOSB tried new batteries etc without success, then I noticed that one of the batteries was sitting lower than the others so it wasn't in contact with both points, just got a precision screwdriver and gently lifted the pin, now works fine.

My actual real trade is electronics Gee, so maybe you are not a million miles out in asking mate,,,,,

Sadly though, I am afraid most of my electronic gear was sold off a few years ago now and I am down to the basics.. Aint even got a scope any more !

I can make a suggestion though.
Contact the makers .. Most run a 'one price for any fix' type scheme now..
I thought my Garmin Quest was a total loss when it made a break for freedom at a tad over 150mph.. Fortunately Garmin said it did not matter HOW badly it was smashed, they would rebuild it for a set price of ?110.16p ( gawd knows where the 16p came from ! )

Ok, it aint THAT cheap, but bottom line is you will almost certainly just get a new camera back in place of the old

Went a few years ago , got soaked to the skin, covered in mud and totally pissed, was an excellent crack, also had a few bikes there.

Gee,

I dropped a Fuji FinePix and it developed a fault. Rang them, they sent me a self inflating bag which I put the camera in and couriered back.

3 days later it came back with new innards and at no cost.

Impressive customer service.

Give em a call.

I've been to the beach race before, absolute mahem - one thing that always pisses me off is the start - it's a farce, what's the point in having a starter if everyone ignores him and just rides past him under a red flag?? Always wanted to go and see the one in France at Le Touquet as well.........
