Much, much worse is the Halifax advert where they sell a mortgage to Top Cat.
Misselling of the worst sort, no attempt at a fact find, lay out the options or to recommend the right product.

It was worse than misselling.
People opted for a change in repayments believing that they could revert to tracker (which was the case) but banks refused and put them on higher interest rates and repayments.
One man interviewed lost 2 rental houses his home his wife and family, tried to kill himself.
He asked for a moratorium or deal but they sold one house and boarded up the other so he had no means of repayment.
They now say that they will sort it by Christmas, oh sorry we'll do it by summer.
They were still hounding customers for debts who were clearly being overcharged while owing them thousands.
