My week-end run looks like being rained off, a customer in Dumbarton has phoned at the crack of dawn about a machine breakdown and I'm off to try to get things going. I was grumpy, tired and thinking about things as the drizzle gathered on my visor.
Got there, machine OK, suggested customer RTFM ! Now I added pissed off to the list of problems.
I was in the wrong lane at the roundabout and headed North for a while.
The mist had cleared, the sun was shining as I stopped at the rest & be thankfull. Then turned off the main drag on to the wee roads.
I had my visor up, my shades on and was toottling along nicely. The trees smelled fresh after the mist, the lochs looked great and I saw less than a dozen cars/vans/lorries in an hour of riding, bloody brilliant!! It's my third time up there this year but it was my best run by far.
Arrived home after 250 miles tired but happy put the bike to bed and then the rain arrived. Great timing eh?
I know it's not much of a mission but I'm a happy biker...
