Sat watching Find It Fix It Flog It and they had a piece of auto memorabilia which they rightly said was in great demand.

What crossed my mind was, in 30+ years time when everyone is driving EVs will such memorabilia be even more collectable and so go up in value, or will it be regarded in the same way as smoking memorabilia and just be junked :nusenuse:

If I kept my Triumph it would be worth a few bob. I paid £75 for it in 1968.

It’s so popular now, and rightly so in my opinion. So much style and substance in stuff prior to around the mid sixtiesish. American Pickers and a Henry Cole’s various programmes have highlighted it……..but the same as everything ‘collectible’ prices go up and down quite considerably; prices of signs are way below their peak of about three years ago.

My sign collection is limited to a ‘road closed’ from the last time the Tour de France was over here……climbed on top of the company Mercedes to ‘repatriate’ that!
