I?m not peeved at ?Davey Bee? / ?Andy Bee? or anyone else, for that matter.
I think he?s done a fantastic job of stirring up a big fuss about something that, initially, I thought was a misplaced attempt to stimulate debate: misplaced, because this is a bike forum and not a area where serious political and social debate is the name of the game.
Now, I just think he?s a deluded, self-centred miscreant ? possibly of low-self-esteem ? who craves and is genuinely addicted to the attention his ramblings have generated recently ? and so it continues, with every response stoking his ego and provoking him into posting more and more drivel ? so much that even I?m tired of it, even though I tend to ignore it.
So ? I?m placing the gentleman on my ignore list. Simple. That way, he can continue his ramblings and I won?t have to look at them ? while his right to contaminate our forum remains in its fullness. And before anyone says ?Yes, go on ? ignore him: that?s what happened with Hitler ? and look where that led? there?s a simple response that dovetails perfectly with the immaturity of our mischievous little friend who?s so adept at pinning labels on people he?s never met:

I haven't been on here for a while, it's certainly a sad to see that there's so many people having a pop at someone for posting a good news story.
It's also sad to see that so many people hold the typically biased view of certain minority groups. But equally it doesn't surprise me in the slightest, and it's part of the reason the number of people I choose to associate with is very rapidly diminishing.

I have tried not to be drawn into this and other threads like it, but I need to say that I am getting extremely pissed off at the way that this “someone” is continually manipulating and twisting things that other members are saying, in order to mask his own inadequate personality. In doing so, he appears to have managed to undermine the standing of some of the members as decent people in the eyes of others such as yourself (hence your post).
Davey Bee IS THE WORST EXAMPLE OF A TROLL I have experienced. I really don’t believe he has any agenda other than shit stir, and ultimately bring down this forum.

Mate, with all due respect unless you read ALL the constant flow of drivel ( And that would involve reading lord knows how many pages of the same thing over and over again ) emanating from the same source your comments are simply not valid.
What is sad is that on the whole everyone agreed with the basic precept being spoken, but the fact the guy rams the same arguments on and on and in many cases refuses to reply to questions or ignores inconvenient ones has managed to put a whole raft of peoples backs up..
So it is not the tenant of the posts but the way the arguments are put that has managed to alienate every one
While I am sure Davey does not see himself as a troll ( and indeed is a very nice chap i n person with an extremely broad knowledge base ) what he does on here would definitely be considered trollism ( if you can excuse the wierd word ) .. Believe all of the people who are saying it..

I'm quite openly moderately liberal. I take everyone on face value and will give anyone the benefit of doubt regardless of race/religion/skin colour/gender/sexuality etc. But there are some people who, after consideration, I won't associate with; Racists, bigots and the misinformed, but I'll make my own decisions based on their actions. I used to debate at great length, now I don't have the energy.
I'm quite openly moderately liberal. I take everyone on face value and will give anyone the benefit of doubt regardless of race/religion/skin colour/gender/sexuality etc. But there are some people who, after consideration, I won't associate with; Racists, bigots and the misinformed, but I'll make my own decisions based on their actions.
