Att - 1200Pete / Jaws / bike bits horders

A mate of mine is looking for a pair of either 3 spoke or 5 spoke ally wheels to go on a 600 bandit engined Z650 streetfighter project.

Blackbird wheels are too big so needs a set where the rear is made for a 160 tyre or failing that a 150 rear.

Were probably talking 600's like CBR or Gixer and the likes of that

Can anybody help?

Apart from Jaws & 1200 Pete there must be some of you out there who has something?
Or are you all middle aged motorcyclists who only buy from dealers and have never had anything spares wise apart from headlamp bulbs and a fairing screen?

I'm more of ya 'retro spoked-wheel' type of builder......but I've got a few mates who may have something tucked away in a lock-up somewhere !!!!

Got any idea of the sort of bike the wheels need to have come from Mate ?? (other than a CBR6)

As long as its a fairly modernish style and the rear is made for a 160 or 150 tyre-then its cool and as stated before,3 spokes would be cool but 5 will surfice. I think hese looking for the spokes to be like Gixer 6 or bandit 6 / CBR 6 rather than the hedious square slabby ones such as an old kwack GPZ.

I rather think that something like a ZZR6 would do the job superbly:-:
