Asda shopping

ianrobbo1

good looking AND modest
I was in Asda yesterday, this thick bitch was on the check-out, face like a slapped arse and all the charisma of a half eaten waffle.
I came to pay, I had only bought milk and bread but had no change.

"£1.03 please"

"Sorry this is all I've got," as I handed her a £20 note.

"Haven't you got anything smaller, 'cos it will take all my change, and I don't wanna count out £18.97?" she replied and pulled a stroppy face.

"I've got nothing, if that helps," I replied...
she didn't get it so I thought fuck it, I'll pay by card.

"Shall I pay by card?" I asked.

"Don't do me no favours," she snapped.

I kept my cool and just put my PIN in.

"Cash back?" she asked sarcastically.

I couldn't resist it... "Oh yes, £18.97 please."

as someone now works in a shop why do customers think staff are stupid? I have a degree as do some of my colleagues. I have also been in the position where I have run out of change because there has been a lot of people spending a little but only have a £20 note. but I have to say that on this occasion she could have approached it differently.

I can't believe anyone carries anything as small as £20 notes.

This from someone I know through motorhoming.. For clarification the Win mentioned is Larry's wife

Happened on Thursday

upload_2019-1-7_22-33-14.png

This afternoon Win and my daughter were looking at clothes in a well known national Supermarket when the complete clothes display unit , over 20ft long toppled on top of them and three other shoppers.

Ambulances attended but no obvious injuries other than some upper body pain and initial shock. Cctv also has a complete record.
When they returned I rang the store manager to ensure all detail correct and vent my anger and surprise that this could happen and that the result could have been so much worse.

I then e mailed the CEO at their head office and await his response as this is a serious breach of customer care and health and safety by the company and could be repeated anywhere in the U.K. if they use common display units.
My question is should I also involve the health and safety executive.
Until I know more I will not name and shame.
My daughter is under a heap of debris being kept still by the security guy and my wife just the other side of him.
I e mailed the CEO of the company but no acknowledgement to date

To keep people employed?
Because a bit of human interaction is nice (this instance not a good example I know).

Not naming and shaming? A blind man on a galloping horse could tell you that the colour of the polo shirt on the black dude tells us exactly which store it is! :roto2palm:
