Anyone know Bazz who used to live in Birmingham, now in West Country?

I am trying to track down Bazz alias Paul Barrett who has moved from Solihull to Worle in the Bristol area. I agreed to sell him an Autocom kit, sent it to him for him to send a cheque by return. As he was a fellow Bird owner, I thought I would do the decent thing and trust him. However, despite the kit arriving at his new address (tracked by Royal Mail) he fails to honour the deal of send it back or send a cheque for ?44.35.

I want to give him one last chance to do what is right before I take out a county court order for recovery cos I hate people who do this sort of thing.
If you know him, perhaps you can appeal to what little sense of decency he might have and nudge his conscience.

Sadly, I tend to treat others as I would like to be treated myself, but there are some who just don't understand and act like shits. Bazz if you read this - send the cheque or the Autocom now or face the consequences.

We understand that Bazz has been admitted to hospital - but we don't know why

Smoothand Quick does have a phone number for Bazz's partner

Having met Bazz several times at Bassetts Pole, he seems like a decent bloke - this non-payment will probably be as he is still in the hossy

I can vouch that we are trying to find out about the hospital rumour. If you still can't reach him, or you don't want to wait further, no problem...... please let me know - I will send you the money myself right away and get it back off Bazz later when we find out what's happened.

One way or another, you WILL get yer money.

Thanks to all who replied (Fat Bert and R2B2) and I understand the predicament - now that I know the facts I can wait until Bazz contacts me. Once again many thanks for the update - and get well soon Bazz!

this is the situation with Bazz as I know it....

He was due to come up to the EOSB and stay at my gaff for the weekend....got a txt off his new lass Carol late Thurs night saying he couldn't make it as he'd been rushed into hospital....

I dropped a text and a phone message back giving him our best and asking if there was anything we could do (seeing as he'd just moved down to the West Country).....whether it was ill health or an off I have no idea...

FYI Malc, he owes me nearly ?200 for a set of zorsts I got him from Micron but I'll be putting that to one side as the poor chap is obviously having some probs....

I have since left him another text and voice mail but no response from Bazz or Carol.....I sincerely hope he is OK and on the mend......

Fingers crossed he is in touch soon......I'll keep you all updated as soon as I hear from him....
