Thank you for the reply and the invitation.
I must admit here in rural North Lincolnshire we are isolated and so far immune from the impact of any other cultures.
It can be very difficult to conduct sensible debate on open forums. The written form of communication is so limiting and we sometimes portray a persona that is not really us.
I am sure that even with views from the extreme of the political spectrum, we all have some common ground.
As with many, when I was younger I was sure of my beliefs and saw things as black and white.
Not any more.
Yes I believe in the basics such as the Christian 10 commandments; well the main ones that I can remember, but I find it increasingly hard to be as dogmatic as I once was.
You are most probably further left in your political views than the image you portray and I am probably further to the right.
All polticians vex me, the media, especially television even more so.
Thank you again for your invitation.
Back to the thread.
If you re read my original post you will see that I feel it would be an absolute outrage if this counter march was to go ahead; equally, an outrage that the BNP use Wootten Basset as a political tool and rallying issue.
It's a genuine invitation - we are always happy to welcolme fellow bikers.
I agree with you about debating on open forums, unless you can meet face to face then it is impossible to "judge" someone.
When I was younger my beliefs were leftish, even now I think we should nationalise the railways, electric and gas companies and supermarkets. Yep, supermarkets, everyone needs to eat and drink and the supermarkets make vast profits at the expense of us and the suppliers.
I would leave the BNP if any of the 3 main parties would put Britain first instead of immigrants and other countries.
Giving bilions in aid to India is just unbelievable, a nuclear country, space programme, fastest growing economy, whilst our OAP's have to decide whether to eat or heat -madness.
I think politics is the biggest criminal organisation going - just look at the European Union.
All the BNP are saying is that if the march goes ahead then it is an insult to the dead servicemen/women and that militant Islam should be kicked out of the UK.
Any case, it's been a good debate on here, whether we agree or not with anyones views.
