No idea why, but every afternoon at 4pm Dillon will plonk himself in front of a telly ( if there is one on ) and watch tipping point

He does not just watch it.... He will sit there cocking his head as if to try and understand, and when something 'exciting' happens he will jump up !

As soon as the end titles roll he will wander off

One of our cats absolutes loves to watch bike racing. First few times she would walk round the telly trying to figure where they went, now she just sits in front of it blocking the view.

Some time ago we had Lassy on for the kids..
Lots of barking fdew Dillons attention
Just as he got in front of the telly Lassy ran across the screen left to right..
Dillon spent the next few minutes looking for her behind and even in the kitchen !!!

Our cat George made a hobby out of ignoring the tv with one notable exception when a bird flew across the screen and he charged across the room and went behind the tv chasing it.

One Christmas sat watching a kids film about a green dinosaur, Hammy sat on my knee watching it, end of film he flew back to his cage.

Watching Schindler's list, not a chirp out of the parrots, gets to the part when the Russian Officer tells the in mates that he has come to liberate them and Squash goes Hurrah... great timing

Talking of great timing, we were once sat watching Lost Boys, the curtains were open & it was pitch black outside, it got to the point where the glick boy had been turned into a vampire & was floating in the air tapping on his brother’s bedroom window, our tabby cat (Benny) chose that moment to leap at our living room window & cling on wanting to be let in, they probably heard the screams in the next village.

Our first cat (Sir Matt) Busby jumped on my shoulder off the back of the sofa while I was watching Friday the Thirteenth....I just about shot through the ceiling!

The other of our two cats, Zorro, has no interest at all in what's on the telly. Or so we thought.
When we got a new TV a couple of years ago, the first night we watched it he spent ages marching up and down in front of it giving it the eye. We figured it was just the programmes we were watching.

Next morning we discovered the little git had sprayed all over it. He doesn't like new stuff coming into his house.

Our dog Bertie grumbles at all sorts on the telly, horses, sheep, cats etc, even the occasional cartoon merits a low uff sound then he gives up & has a nap, he seems to like bike racing & will watch it for ages but he ignores car racing (sensible lad) :D

Outside only cats & squirrels provoke a nutty reaction, he's off like a noisy ginger rocket :D other dogs are viewed as playmates & he never barks at them

That was Salem's Lot. Great film but the book is amazing (y)

My mums 19 month old Airedale has taken a dislike to any TV program where there's violence of any kind, which rules out them watching any crime dramas. Even adventure films are a bit iffy. Dog just goes nuts, running around barking, jumping al over the furniture and if there's any real loud explosions, he'll finish off by hiding under the dining room table.

Odd really, as he's quite boisterous whenever I visit and when I get up to leave. I also walk him a couple of times a week & the only thing I've seen him flinch at was when a Harley went past.
