not done any comps for a while now since moving to Derby
but still have a couple of special rods made for me and just the one favourite reel (as in the only fecker i never managed to break ! ) a guy down on the south coast made a special frame for me and i cant bear to part with it

nah,i didn't ride brillo...didn,t feel 100% confident with the roads the way they were $%3un poor old gary had a fookin slide and a half,i almost creamed my pants for him :blush: anyways,we know he ain't the best on the twisties,or was it he's bored with them :}

yes it's true bird went over today when a fookin woman reversed into it knocking it over onto it's r/h side :B .

I know how you feel mate.

Happened to me about a year and a half ago but the driver did a runner. The police were to busy to attend despite my insistance. A witness got the Reg Number and said that the driver looked pissed. The police tracked it down, and said that the woman hadn't noticed. strange......

1. The witness said it was definitely a bloke not a woman.

2. The bike was knocked about three feet, into another vehicle - both the car's and the bikes alarms were wailing. The offending vehicle took off 'wheel-spinning'

Despite this, the police said that there was nothing they could do, this includes interviewing or taking statements from witnesses. Besides (and this was the bit that really pissed me off), the car was traced to an address in an affluent area of Cardiff so by their reckoning, the woman would not be lying :rant:


DAS legal pursued the case for me and managed to get back half the insurance estimate for the cost of repairs.

Odds do seem to be stacked against the users of two wheeled transport.
