F1 aren’t that quick off the line..but once they get going.
And boy do they stop fast.
Not quite the same - I had a blat around the hills of Maranello as a passenger in a Ferrari F430 driven by an F3 driver - the acceleration I was expecting but the brakes were totally unbelievable. That lunatic was still accelerating hard when I would have been braking, a real eye opener. Well, eye closer I suppose as mine were shut at times waiting for the impact.
