Keep signing up folks. I am in the Gulf on ship and in Daytona Beach until mid-July but will be making initial arrangements in the meantime. The weather here is 36C every day and getting hotter, more humid and smoggy every day. Anyone wanna swap for Blighty ?! Look forward to seeing you all. If you have any road you would like to take in on a ride out let me know.
Cheers
Kev

ITS STILL ON !!!

For everyone who thinks we have been overshadowed by the official end of seasonbash, please let me know whether you still want to come on this one. Its my birthday so I will be taking the missus on a romantic weekend on dartmoor on the bike anyhow. Camping/ B+B and Bunkhouse all available for the weekend at good prices. Good food, real ale fine company and the best riding roads outside of scotland... (well I think so). Plume of Feathers Princetown is the meeting venue and we plan to get around a lot of the moor (and the beer) from FRIDAY 9 SUNDAY 11 SEPTEMBER .HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!!

Hi Mal
Typical Crab regiment, gets all upset coz we didnt paint the stones the right shade of white!!! Anyhow, yr comments noted but I am the ZEN of motorcycling so if they want to have another meet elsewhere then let them, only the quality personnel will be allowed past the Taunton services checkpoint anyhow! OK, Moog, Devon or elsewhere??? Lets see everyone with a birthday round that time at this one, I guarantee you it will be good - and you wont have to go to the other side of the country for the fun!! Look forward to seeing you there - you can organise the tents into rows for inspection LOL!! :neenaw: :beer:

Just a reminder that this awesome Devon special will be taking place from 9-11 Sept and can otherwise be known as the Devon 911 weekend. More details on the EOSB and rideout scheduler. Let me know if you can make it. Fun for all !!

Ex Joss man eh?! You'll fit in well with the wardens down the road!! Only kiddin mate, hope2 CU there. Incidentally, you ever come across Kev Robertsons dad (was Joss man on the Old Ark for the Sailor series) or Jan Hocking? More the merrier I say. Have warned off the Plume and there is more than enough space for camping. Ring 01822 890240 for bunkhouse availability but book asap as they are popular. B+B may be available at the Railway next door or at the Prince of Wales (all in the phone book or on the net). Ride out is likely to be saturday mid morning to afternoon dependent upon weather - bring camera there will be lunch stop at appropriate biker friendly pub/snack type place.

Happily it is!! You dont even have to book there is normally stacks of space and its only a few quid pppn. They do a major brekky for under 4 quid and the food and beer is well good. Try the jail ale and youll see what I mean !! Hope to see you there at some stage over the weekend, sheep notwithstanding (do you take your own wellies???)

:beer: :}

PS Gypsy
I will try to rack my brain for suggested good bike spots in the region, I will have few sorted by the time we meet. In the meantime I know the A39 through N cornwall is good, if you are going to W cornwall it isnt too far to Lands End, try the coast road on the way back from St Just to St Ives and you will see why they are classed as another country down there!!! :}

Jus to let everyone know that your alternative "Bash", the Dartmoor 9-11 Weekend is still on and available for anyone unable to make the main event up north. Costing a mere ?5 pppn for camping and a little more for bunk house we will be doing a scenic rideout on the Saturday around the Moor. There will be other bikes there as well for some variety! All welcome call 07906 675503 for further details. Enjoy either Bash

Hi Mate
Massif come on down - just remember passports LOL! Oh, and bring yer own cake... Anyhow, I have had to book into the bunkhouse next door at the foxtore cafe, call 01822 890238 - its pretty cheap but there is also acres of camping, generally on a 1st come etc basis out back of the Plume and Railway pubs (only 20 yards from the door for you!). I think camping would be around ?5 per night and bunkhouse around ?10 per couple per night. Call to confirm. There are other B=B in Princetown and there is no shortage of camping facilities. Rideout being cunningly planned (but always open 2 suggestions) and B nice to see you all there. Great countryside, food and beer and of course, pasties and piskies, ghosts and headless horsemen etc. PLUS There will be a bunch of beemers there for mickey taking etc...
