How can how often or even when someone rings your doorbell improve Amazon's products?

It is worrying how much info can be gathered about us from seemingly innocent devices. It really pisses me off to keep getting adverts on, for example, Duo Lingo, for stuff I've looked for on google.

I think the BBC did ask if the data might be used when delivering goods to predict when householders would be in but they declined to comment.

A mate has an Alexa he's very proud of it & likes to show off to the point it became annoying at a BBQ slightly worse for wear another mate kept shouting play ACDC which started us all off shouting random things at it, I would love to see the record of that particular evening …. My brother has one, same thing happened on Xmas day evening. A bunch of use slowly getting more drunk in the kitchen shouting random things at Alexa.

No midget porn although I do recall his wife shouting F***ing dog at my brother just as I shouted Alexa...
