Acroprovic 4 into 1 works well on the V&M and is road legal, sounds great but isn't too loud that it attracts the wrong kind of attention. The race can is easy to slip on if you want even more power.

Didn't know what V&M was either till I bought mine. V&M are a tuning company who built 20 special edition Blackbird 1200's for the 50th aniversary of Honda uk. All were fitted with the Acroprovic systems and had race carbs tuned to suit.

I have an Akrapovic 4-2-1 on mine with an end can that has a removable baffle. With the baffle in it's totally road legal, without the baffle it sounds great.

They are definitely worth it IMHO, due to the weight loss alone. The standard set-up weighs a ton! The extra power and sound is an additional bonus that puts the icing on the cake. Don't forget to cost in a power commander or dyno-jet kit to set her up properly afterwards

Exhausting

I fitted a set of Quill T3's a while ago and I find them excellent. Sound is loud enough for me (although the missus complains when she's pillion!) and it smoothed out the flat spot (she's a 98 vintage).
I'd recommend them every time and they are legal too, I'm still waiting to be pulled by Mr Plod so I can gloat !!

If it's an injected 'Bird, the power commander will be sat under the seat. If it's a carb there's no way of knowing whether it's been jetted without stripping it down. However, as it's from a dealer they should know/have been told by the initial seller so can tell you :dunno:
