as I was riding in to aber to have a (another) new rear viper fitted on my bird.

This year has been noticeable for two things

1. The number of birds down significantly with no-one else involved

2. The number of peeps moving from Bridgestones to Avons

Coincidence or connection ?

I was thinking this morning, "I wonder how many of the offs would have happened had folks been riding other machines"?

what was the weather like, what tyres, what speed, were they riding hard, too many things, too many crashes, too many different people.

You're confusing me Wolfie

are you saying coincidence?

Answering to nobody
I've noticed my bike twitching and feeling a tad unsettled recently, i've put it down to either tyres or the fact that i'm riding it harder now than i ever have :yo: , i think its the latter. I like to ride alone these days and tend to push it a touch more than last season.

Try telling a rider that remembers the eighties and hasn't ridden since that Bridgestones are the way to go
You must be a mind reader.... I was just saying to someone at the EOSB that way back then you bought a new bike and dumped the Bridgestones saspo. They had less grip dry or wet than a well oiled jelly.

But then suspension boinged and frames flexed and sometimes spokes did odd things as well.

Yes Lumpy

Pure coincidence. I remember back to the 50's and 60's when the tyres were as hard as fook and square! Admittedly we had a lot less power... and crap brakes. Low sides were very common but with no bodywork it was a case of get up, pick the bike up and set off again...usually!

We had a minor earth tremor in Kidderminster today at approximately 1609hrs... Having cheked on the forum, it occurs to me that it must have been as a direct result of Centaurs' thought......

Please can you restrain yourself from thinking, as it is causing devastation here in the midlands...Small children are running around wondering what is happening to them:eek:

I, myself, nearly dropped a 4pack of Stella Artois in Tescos as I lifted it from the fridge, which could have been disasterous.

Some woman said it was "coz of the riotin paddys", so I said. "feck off you old trollop, what do you know"??? To which she replied that I was a "rude, fat bastard" which shows she wasnt as stupid as I thought she was...ROFL

Which brings me to my fort for the day...

Shit Appens.....

More of us are doing more & more miles at faster & faster speeds, which means we are going to have "statistically" more accidents.....

Sorry, I am full of Stella Tortoise, and probably make not a lot of sense (nowt unusual there then...)

Have a good night folks,

Rolfy

ps.. Just watched my favourite Cylon on battlestar Galactica (the latest series), so I'm off for a :wank:

When I had my little spill this year there were a few contributing factors mainly farmer leaving shit all ove the road, being on cold tyres hitting the back brake and the front going wide and the fact it was too bloody early in the morning for the likes o me.:bang:
