By coincidence we were discussing go back to Amsterdam this morning.You guys seem like the sort to appreciate this kind of thing, enjoy.
If you do, go onto the Market & tell them the daffodil & tulip bulbs they sold us were shite, not one flowered

Now, what did I come in here for....
Got engaged to my missus in Amsterdam about 30 years ago.
I planted 250 daffodils at the big site I manage three years ago….must be at least double that amount now. They certainly seem to like the sea air.
Annoying thing is I now have to pay someone to come and look after them!
Been a but if a struggle getting shrubs to establish..the most Successful have been ceanothus thrysiyflorus, they thrive.
It does not really explain what is being towed other than a camera on 30ft mastYou guys seem like the sort to appreciate this kind of thing, enjoy.

Sorry Jaws, like you, I can only guess. The water ways in the Netherlands are awesome though and seeing them from this perspective is pretty cool.
I have only seen them in a few selected places and always from the shore
A few years ago on our return from cruising the Baltic and going into Russia, one of our stop overs was Amsterdam which meant cruising on a 150,000 ton ship down the canals from the North sea into Amsterdam.
It was a very surreal and pleasant experience.
Did it for a second time about 3 years ago and despite knowing what to expect it was still a pleasant journey.
But that said, it has not convinced me to do a river cruise
