Hi Folks,

I posted on here, must have been a year or so ago, thinking about buying a blackbird and got a great set of replies with all sorts of advice. It's taken me a while to get round to it for various reasons but last Friday I got my hands on one. Its a T plate FI bird, 13k on the clock, its spotless but in need of some age related TLC (new clutch fluid for example)

It is standard apart from some GB Moto bar risers.

What a bike. Its actually easier to ride at walking pace than my old viffer, obviously its a bit quicker than my old FJ VFR though!

One thing, and its probably just me being soft, full right lock is a bit tricky as my hand gets stuck by the tank, any advice on that one?

Anyway, hoping to post a bit on here, I do all my own maintenance so looking forward to getting stuck into that side of things. Ok, flame away at my poor u-turn technique now;)

So does that mean you do want a sweetie then? (I love the politely bit)

You don't need long memories, just a search facility

Aye, cheers, looked today and there is a bit of room to move em about a bit, will have a play this weekend.

Putting the miles on it this week, did 180 odd on it the day before yesterday, home to work, work into London to see my bro and back home again. It really is easier at slow speeds than my old viffer was! No trouble in the traffic at all, which for such a big bike is really cool:) Getting 170 to the fuel light which is alright too, I think;)
