Depends who you talk to.

I've one fitted and I love it. However there is a train of thought that says by lifting the rear end you're changing the weight distribution (throwing it forward) and hence it's easier to lock the rear wheel.

Mine's an '07 but I know they tweaked the linked system over the years so possibly more of an impact on earlier ones ?? Anyway I've never had any issues.

Got one in and it shows a little better handling but a decent track day would give you the same benefit. For the money though it can't be beat.
