I'm thinking of buying another bike as well as my bird and wondered if anyone has a multi bike insurance and where they got if from instead of two seperate insurance policies which can run very expensive as one will have no no claims bonus attatched. Any information would be grate. Thank you.

I think HB had one with Carole Nash. That said Carole Nash were shit when he needed to claim.

Multi bike insurance

kelfster - I have both bikes on the same policy with carol nash - they rate the main bike and then add-on the second.
Though having read what tootyfluti had to say, i hope I don't need to claim! :neenaw:

When I was with Carole Nash the girl on the phone said I could have up to six bikes on the policy! Don't know if they still do that as I've never had a second bike to add :B

Multi Bike Policies

Think the majority now do a multi bike policy, as always, play one off against the other for the best deal mate. Would'nt touch Carole Nash with a shitty stick, quick to take your dosh but service is shite when you need it man8um

I added a "Big One" on to my policy and as it was a lower group and I could only ride one at a time it only cost a ?10 admin fee! :yo:

2nd Bike

When I insured my bird with Direct Choice the back end of last year for ?318.00 they added my 02 Triumph Trophy 1200 for the princely sum of ?2.00 !!!!!!! What a result. The previous year had cost me ?760.00 for the bird and ?240.00 for the Trophy. Cofields and Bennetts respectively the latter are absolutley crap at everything!!!!!!!! can't speak for Cofields as we did not have any occasion to call upon thier services after the policy was issued.

Try your own insurers first then start phoning around.
