If its 27/28/29th Matsdad and Bunny will come as they have to fit in to school holidays.

What date do the Scottish schools restart, that'll help reduce road traffic. I believe its earlier than this side of the boarder.

Yes mate, the Schools go back on up here the 17th August 2010 so they will be all back in school and the roads should be a bit quieter.

We always used to book our holidays in England the 2 weeks at the beginning of the Scottish School holidays cos the Englidh ones were still in, the costs were always less and the roads were oh so quiet !!

For those who came this year, Alec and Scott will be coming again next year and Alec is more than happy to lead the Ride Outs with Kenny, I'll lead the slow group at the back !!!

Oh feck me Bunny's posted... There ya go Rolfy a bike to borrow for the rideouts, be careful though the tyres are 2 years old and a bit squared off.

Even though the 30 'quota' may be over (by 1!) I'll put you on the list. I

Its all down to first come first served so if any of the original 'bunch' can't manage then there will be space so if anyone else now wants to come, you'll be on the 'reserve' list !

I'll compile a list at the end of the year when everyone will be asked for a deposit.

Sorry to sound like a pain in the ass (no comment) about numbers, but I did have a list of around 60 for this years BASH and we ended up with 20.

Because we are limiting next years to 30(ish) I have to be sure those who say they want to come commit with dosh at the end of the year.

I appreciate, due to unforseen circumstances (like the torrential rain this year) some may not be able to come at the last minute but generally I'd rather have those saying they are coming and try to commit. Again I know its difficult but I just want to make sure we do have 30 and not and up with 10 !!

Wouldnt dream of going into the bike colour issues...:}

But, we're planning on taking the caravan to (maybe around) the Nurburgring/Eifel region via Brugge next year

As for the rideout... May not even be able to get on a bike by then :cry:, but we'll see.

Russ, we hope to have a little Genny by next year (keeping our eyes open on ebay for one (Honda preferably)

So far the Bank Holiday Weekend seems to be favourite ?

Are any of this years Scottish BASHers not able to manage that weekend ?

Like I say its a hell of a long way off so don't panic !!

All 3 weekends have been pencilled in with the Hotel, the Band and the Magician so there's no problem there. Have to say it was a bit chilly that weekend in September but I don't mid cos I'll be in my bed !!

I'm having to vote for the later dates (September) coz I have an inquest I am dealing with which is listed for 2 weeks commencing on 23rd August.:violin:

It won't leave me time to get back for the start if bash is first weekend and its too far to come literally just for the weekend if its the end of August weekend.

If you go with one of August weekends and I can't make it, can I come in 2011?

Hi Guys,

Was speaking to the owners of the field behind the Vale yesterday and because there is a chance we will be going for the Bank Holiday weekend I will need to book it fairly soon. (this also goes for the rooms in the Vale cos of it being a holiday)

SO !!

Looks like the votes so far are heading to that weekend so if anyone wants to vote for that weekend, or the others, can you do it over the next couple of weeks so I can make sure we get it if we need it then, say by the end of October ?

Sorry for the hassle but I think as soon as I can book it, its ours then and I can forget about the rest of the details until next year.

Sorry to anyone who cant manage any particular weekend.

Well, if they won't change their dates, I'll still be coming to the McBash - still got all the plans I had for this year, so maybe I'll suceed next year!! :-0)

Not a lot of hope that Ogri will change their dates it's been that weekend for 30 odd years. I'm afraid we can't do the bash instead of the rally. As Ogri members it would go down a bit like a lead balloon.
