2004 model

I'm not covince that nothing is going to happen to the Bird in 2004. I've been looking around at other honda sites from different countries and both Honda France and Honda Swiss are advertising specific Blackbird offers.
Honda Swiss is has got money off on an official discount from Honda until 31/10/03. Honda France has reduced the price of a Blackbird from 13400 euros to 12000 euros until 30/09/03.

What is going on ??

I'm in the market for a new 2003 Bird and was going looking for a deal today and swopping in my 2002 Viffer and now i'm in two minds!! Part of me is saying to get a 2003 model which is tried and tested and will no doubt run like clock work with no chance of faults and recalls. The other part of me is saying to wait incase the 2003 model drops in price and I'll lose out.

Go get one,the new BB aint gonna be about IMHO until the end of next year,and its going to have to be some bike to beat the current model

There's an awful lotta talk (from us users) and a lotta silence (from Honda) this years model being offered now or soon at discount to clear, or so it would appear. It all points to a new model for 2004, but alas only in the colour scheme. With due respect to all BB owners, it was never a complete tourer, but more
a hyper tourer/sport. With this in mind and Honda's marketing strategy it all points to a new multi colour sport scheme and maybe, just maybe (fingers crossed), fully adjustable front suspension. A complete revision is very unlikley given the attention paid to other models recently.
