Picture of beauty that is Silverfox!

Thank you.

I have now removed the centre stand for respray, first coat on the chipped areas is Upol Grav Guard, its the anti stone chip paint they use on car sills etc; http://www.autopaintsbrighton.co.uk/stone-chip-gravi-guard-u-pol-aerosol-black-500ml-241-p.asp ,its really thick and does not need a primer. That'll then be oversprayed with hammerite gloss black..

Oh and the hugger 'front' extender I made is keeping all the crud off the rear suspension linkage... its now been installed over 30k miles and other than an occasional wash the linkage has not been touched.

coincidence or what??

Is this a coincidence:dunno:
My RED bird is also 11 on 1st May, and I also have the centre stand off ready to go to the powder coaters tomorrow, just fitted the RED Baglux tank cover, and, a RED acumen DGV (?60.00 inc postage from Rossendale Kawasaki).

I think the RED is sooo more attractive than the undertakers black that certain people go on about.

If that dark satanic colour is named stealth after the American plane "Why can we still see it" Is that because it travels slowly?8rfl@man8um

Lol, I too have a red DGI, Mounted mine on a dash extension, 2 tiny screws hold the dash extension it in place. Fitted at the bottom of the dash where it 'kinks' inwards. Clears the ignition switch and houses an aux relay control switch and a voltage monitor LED. And, if you do a search I've installed a headlight adjuster (height). @tu*

I have now sourced some R101CU paint locally, 'professional' but they popped it in a handy aerosol.. Primer, basecoat 1 (pale red with silvers and other colours in it), basecoat 2 (deeper red to give depth of colour) then a lacquer. Got it initailly to spray the tamiya model BB... :-0)

I put the DGV on top of the dash under the double bubble, not ridden it yet, in the garage it does appear bright and wondering if it's "in yer face bright" when riding, will find out this week end.If it is I will go down your route of mounting it.

Interesting about the paint. We have a shop locally that can put it in a can.
The inner fairing could do with painting as it's suffering from chips from the front wheel
