Mine had a meeting with a tractor on the wrong side of the road around a blind bend. Needless to say the tractor won hands down and i had my first flying lesson.%$fan

Did you ever get it back up to scratch? Any pics?

I hit a 6" raised kerb head on (a bit silly really, but hey, I was young) and did a flip and the bike landed upsidedown on its tank, which took most of the impact and saved alot of damage. Apart from the buckled wheels of course!
My rebuild is below (as you can see I like yellow - and now have a yellow T595 - shame bird doesnt come in yellow)

No it never went back on the road rod, You cant see from the pic there but the subframe was bent round about 20 degrees and there was a whacking great hole in the crank case that snapped the crank and put an end to rebuilding fantasies c7u8 The silly tractor driver decided to carry on along his merry way with the bike under his front axle so kinda wrecked it

Went out and bought a gix 11 instead at the time :yo:

stuff bennets bike insurance

So there I am in India and need to renew my blackbird insurance for my bike in blighty so scan the web and come across bennets bike insurance and sign my money over ?164 only to get back to England to find a letter saying they have cancelled my insurance and will return a check to me for ?73 (er excuse me there is ?91 of my money missing) as I did not supply proof of no claimes bonus, How could I? I was in India so didnt receive a letter asking for one. When I pointed out that this was not a requirement of theire terms and conditions on the web I was told there was no one at bennets that knew what the web said so could I would have to copy it all out and send it to them as they wont except emails this I did, anyway it goes on and on 22 phone calls and 8 letters and 3 months later i got ?111 back out of ?164 this company sucks if you have an accident I wouldnt hold your breath with these people, anyway found cheaper deal in the end. Its just you see their name every where and think you can trust them because they are big. Beware of this company they are greif. They are big because they are robbers. Any one else had crap of these people? bet there is.
