Er indoors has the mazda2 ts2, brilliant little car, all its needed in 10+ years is a service & a steering rack (the rack on this particular year is a known problem others are fine)The Mazda. We've had 3 over the years... 2 Mk1's and 1 Mk2. All were 1.6L petrols but the diesels are well rated.
The Mazda 3's shared the same chassis as the Ford Focus and the Volvo S40 of the time, but the Mazda definitely had sportier handling. The downside was that the ride was a bit harsher on your average potholed town roads.Unsurprisingly most on here are going for the Mazda as it’s the safe choice, going with the head rather than the heart.
Then again the Alfa is an ancient FWD Fiat Punto platform in a party frock.........
in conclusion I would go for a VW Golf
Is this the one that has been setting fire to itself on a regular basis ?I have been told by a Ford mechanic that the Focus 1.0 eco boost 3 cylinder turbo thing, when it has an overheating problem ( when and not if) it means the engine will be scrap as they can’t be rebuilt in the usual way, refacing the head etc.
Begins with 'F' and ends with 'F'...It's not fluff.Looks like it’s caught a glimpse of your jacket mate .
