I have just been reading about this and honestly can't see what the fuss is about. She expressed an opinion that may or may not be fair but it's her opinion, Hardly life changing stuff either way.

Leeds are getting it in the neck for inflaming the situation and being held accountable for her being ripped to bits on twitter.

I can totally understand why Kearney has closed her twitter account, who needs crap like that in their lives?

As ever it is the online bullies/idiots acting like a pack of wolves with zero accountability.

Another example while the social media platforms need to get their houses in order.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion & she is actually getting paid for her opinion, she certainly does not deserve sexist remarks or threats, Leeds have gone to great lengths to get rid of the “dirty Leeds” tag & have actually become the second most talked about team in the Premier league for the right reasons, a handful of so called fans could very easily destroy all the good work.

She has 144 caps for England.
She might know something about it.

It's easy to rip people when you hide behind the Internet.

Having looked a bit deeper into this she isn’t as innocent as she would have us believe, whilst playing for Birmingham she received a substantial ban for making racist remarks. How did she get a job as a pundit? Andy Gray was sacked from Sky for making sexist remarks.

I would fancy her chances against anyone on here!

Having played on a few occasions against top level women footballers I can assure you they are very, very good. And that was some time ago when the standard wasn't as good as it is now.

Remember Harry (redknapp's) heroes..
ITV 2019. A bit of a nostalgic farce.
They played Crystal Palace ladies who at the time was 3rd in the league and beat them 1-0. A 20 year + age difference.

Earlier, Harrys 'old boys' played Harlow Town under 16's boys team and lost 2-1.
Age difference, 30+ years.

Consider the obesity, knackered joints and age difference, there is absolutely no comparison to women's fart ball.
I rest my case.

And so was Richard Keys.

The comments attacking her are not acceptable but at the same time, I do not agree with women being involved in any way with men’s football. They’re now playing the game, so they should stick to their own version. The BBC, surprise surprise, are doing their best to give them equal status in the football section of the website and that’s wrong on every level. They should be separated between men and women; if nothing else, it creates not insignificant confusion when seeing a headline shouting about Burnley hammering Liverpool six nil, only to find it refers to women’s football.

You might be surprised. A pro women’s team played a schoolboy team of under 15s recently and the girls got hammered. The women look good on a level playing field but they cannot compete with men, not a chucking fance.

He's supporting the sexual equality side and not the actual physicality and competitive ability.

I have played in mixed teams specially in walking football & some of the women run rings round the men.
My youngest daughter was the best goalkeeper in her school but was not allowed to play in the boys team.

Poof.

You fancied her chances against anyone on here, which is hardly reasonable. No one on here is/was, as far as I’m aware, a professional footballist. I very much doubt she could keep up with anyone on here on a bike; pointless comparison. The point is, she wouldn’t stand a chance against male professionals.
