Achill Island off Co. Mayo.Well....Where is here?
Mine has two things to do on start up;In the instructions for my Honda brush cutter/strimmer it states press primer bulb five times, this worked for about a year then I discovered six or seven presses were required, usually starts first time.
EnjoyResigned.
Try removing the air filter cover, my brushcutter cuts out if I leave it on.Mine has two things to do on start up;
- Big plastic primer bulb to get the fuel to the carb - can se that this is working as I can see the fuel going back to the tank via the overflow
- A plastic plunger that is supposed to be plunged ten times on a a cold start. Can't really see what it does when carb dismantled, it's not connected to anything but I am guessing that it is supposed to return to the 'unplunged' position.
Tried that Derek.Try removing the air filter cover, my brushcutter cuts out if I leave it on.
No sense of adventureI like to ease my way into the day, so as an electrician was possibly arriving at 8am I set my alarm for 6.30 aiming to be out of bed by 7am and breakfasted by 8am already for electrian. Alarm went off at 6.30, next looked at clock and it was 7.30, jumped out of bed, took tablet (need to leave 1/2 hour between tablet and food). Fed parrots, just had time to eat breakfast before electrician arrived, now back to bed to recover,( on my own not with electrician in case you are wandering)
