I am having to clear and sort my workshop and old stores
The eventual target is to get the two in to one so Woman can reclaim the garden area the store shed is in
I have been at it for 6 days straight, 4 of which has been dedicated to sorting out my hand and power tools
They are being sorted in to three ..One set for the workshop, one for the garage, and what is left is being given to number four grandson ( the only one that really takes after his dad and myself )
Screwdrivers... flat blade, done
Screwdrivers... Cross head various, done
Nut drivers, BA, metric and AF , done
Open ended spanner, AF, metric, whitworth, done
Combination spanners, AF, metric, whitworth, done
Ring spanners, AF, metric, whitworth, done
Pliers, bull nose, done
Pliers, snipe nose, done
Pliers, specialist, done
Grips, mole type, done
Grips, pipe and odds, done
Levers ( various ) and ball joint splitters, done
Punches, done
Chisels, done
Now I have to start on the sockets.... There are about 5-600 sockets that have got to be sorted..... Socket handles ( ratchets, t bars, extensions, torques etc etc ) have occupied half a tool box on there own
When I have done that I have to start on the special tools.. such as pullers, picks, expanders blah blah blah
I HOPE, to at least get the tools done my mid November... then the real fun starts, shelving and throwing away all the other stuff !!!!!!
