Whilst this poll has singled out Davey, people should be aware that the options in the poll would be applied to everyone equally.

I would also urge everyone to read the generic rules which saffie posted in post#5 and apply them to yourselves volunterily.

My tuppence worth.

1. If people genuinely take offence at anything posted on this forum then they should probably devote their time and energy to something else.
2. If you don't like someone's opinion or views ... don't read their posts .. or put them on your ignore list.

Users should only be banned if they've contravened or broken pre-defined forum rules. If Davey Bee has, then ban him. If he hasn't, then don't. If necessary, make some more rules. A poll is a cop out.

Personally, I don't give a flying f**k if Davey Bee is banned or not.

I voted as not being bothered one way or the other simply on the basis that like the TV, I have the option to hit the ignore or off button or just not bother reading what he has writ (to coin an Ernie Wise phrase gr0n: ) in the first place.

If people don't take the bait and ignore him, I am sure he will soon get fed up and bugger off of hos own accord.

While I don't have Davey Bee on my ignore list, I have made a conscious choice to ignore his posts. He, along with everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

We're all of an adult age, even if we don't always act like one (I rarely act my age, in the mornings I feel older, in the evenings younger).

Everyone has a right to their opinion, even Davey Bee and I exercise my right to ignore his opinion.

I don't think he should be banned as I can see no forum rule that he's in breach of and when I last looked, being a complete f*****t (works computer means I need to be careful here) is not a good enough reason.

I voted to remove as this whole circus would get repeated on a weekly basis.

Some years ago there was a guy on The Comic's forum always going on about that chains aren't needed anymore and bike's should be shaft drive. He became a drain on the forum winding people up and hijacking threads, there were also invitations to 'meet up' etc so admins got rid.

The guy even came back with a ghost account but he was soon spotted and either left or that account got blocked with less fanfare.

Most people know when to reign in an argument for the sake of peace, those that can't should learn the hard way.

Yeah I know there is a history and I did take the time to look back through previous posts.
Doesn't alter the way I feel however. Whether he is just an attention whore or truly a looney left apologist, when there are people like this around willing to say stupid things it just strengthens the argument of those who seek a common sense approach.

The problem is that if Davey's posts are being flagged by Google then he is bringing unwanted attention to a brilliant site, hopefully the temporary ban vote will win & give Davey chance to take a good look at himself & come back & become a worthwhile contributor.

I voted "do not care" on the basis that I don`t read anyones post if I find it offensive.
I also tend to drop that thread as well so any other useful info is also lost to me. However life is to short to give the poster the replies he wants so if he stay`s or goe`s " i do not care either way".
However if he ever invited me to a "meeting" it might help me with my own anger management issues.

the ignore list is there for a reason and it should be used if people don't want to read the shite.

I don't think he should be banned or deleted personally although I respect you listening to the masses and responding.

We all know there is no God, so his views on that are the rantings of a delusional retard, so on that basis he should be in the same group as BlueBird riders.

All the whingers need to do is put him on the ignore list and problem goes away. It's not exactly rocket science.
