Yet another buzzing noise

I bought a C&S set from the nice man at Blackbird spares and after making a bit of fool of myself I have now fitted the new gear, new tyres and have a bigger grin than ever. Since replacing the chain I have noticed a buzzing noise just like a wasp which is related to the final drive speed (not the engine speed) and only when in gear. I have checked the newly fitted kit and trawled these pages for an answer and I don't think it's the CCT. I can't say if the noise was there before because the old chain noise was bad enough to mask anything. The noise appeears to come from the front sprocket area and chain adjustment is OK.

Here's hoping.

But is it in line? it must just be slightly out of alignment. ergo the noise.

It's hard to tell just by looking at it but I'll take the front sprocket off and see if there are any marks, I have done a few miles and there may be something showing. If not, I'll try to get some 'blue' on the back & front cogs and run it for a bit. Thanks for the suggestion.

If it's aftermarket sprocket it will probably be a bit noisier, the OE front one has a built in cush and runs quieter, could well be that.
