Another taste of the future.........there is a camera on the driver to monitor for signs of tiredness...and sounds an alarm if it is detected.
That’s hardly new technology. My 2012 C Class coupé had something along those lines. I don’t think it was a camera but it monitored the way the car was driven and if the driver got sloppy (e.g. wandering in the lane), it would start sounding alarms and a coffee mug symbol would flash up on the dash.Another taste of the future.........there is a camera on the driver to monitor for signs of tiredness...and sounds an alarm if it is detected.
My first thought was- it would be better to monitor brain activity.Another taste of the future.........there is a camera on the driver to monitor for signs of tiredness...and sounds an alarm if it is detected.
Did she have big tits? You will all be delighted to hear that a young lady in her clapped out Peugeot shouted 'knobhead' at me when I was filling it up.
No. But she shouted 'knobhead' at one.Did she have big tits?
Lane changing technology has been around for ages, this thing monitors what the driver is doing, not the car. That’s hardly new technology. My 2012 C Class coupé had something along those lines. Interesting to see how a camera can detect if one is tired.Lane changing technology has been around for ages, this thing monitors what the driver is doing, not the car.
My understanding is that it does two things:Interesting to see how a camera can detect if one is tired.
So you’ve been driving tired then....My understanding is that it does two things:
- locks on to your eyes and measures blink rates and duration
- also, it detects a downward movement of the head such as when dozing off
Warning is an audible alarm and juddering steering wheel.
A lot of people dismiss this stuff as gimmicks but having used the technology for a week I can see where it is going.
Safer roads for all
Maybe they could adapt this technology to catch out mobile phone users and link it to a retractable spike in the seat.My understanding is that it does two things:

Only as a result of reading your posts....So you’ve been driving tired then....
Buffoon.
So you’ve been reading his posts while driving?Only as a result of reading your posts....
I’d like a Bentayga, but it won’t happen. Then when I was in Milan a couple of weeks ago I had a good long look around a huge motorhome store for inspiration. We came away deciding that what we have already suits our needs and the slight niggles we have with it can be worked around. I’ve just been around it with a fine tooth comb sorting out some of them already. Additionally its now got new discs and pads front and rear, I've fitted modified rear spring shackle bushes and done an engine service. Then replaced one of the faulty rear cameras. The other day you were banging on about getting a Bentley??
No.So you’ve been reading his posts while driving?
Baboon.

Yup.Am I the only one who thinks the more tech these cars get & the more people come to rely on it the more driving standards go down ?
