derek kelly i suspect you may be having a bid on this - you have probably picked up already that despite what the listing says this is NOT a Competition model M8, looks like a standard M8. Could still be a bargain though…but personally I would be very wary of buying sight 7nseen through an online auction for obvious reasons.

But it is up to you.

derek kelly i know you are still phaffing about on what colour to go for - if it helps if you go down the Alpina route they will paint your new BMW any colour you want.

Here is an absolutely stunning B8 in Porsche ‘Chalk’ by way of an example.

I'm with Dezza on this one. I don't know what the fascination with some of these colours is over the last few years. It's like they've taken a can of grey paint and added a pot of cream into the mix. Ghastly. And this one is too American for me with those silly side reflectors.

Don’t be ridiculous. A) it’s absolutely glorious And B) never ever admit to agreeing with Derek in public even if you do agree with him. It causes irreversible damage.

I do agree about the US specification side reflectors - there are many suppliers in the US that make a nice living out of supplying painted infill replacements.
