Read a judgement and the subsequent appeal on a grounding off Xiamen about nine years ago. And not much else. Couldn’t even be arsed to train this morning.
Serious point there about 'not being arsed'. We haven't been arsed to eat as well as we normally do over the last couple of weeks, lots of 'comfort' stuff like buns and chocolate. We never, ever buy chocolate but treat ourselves to a bun once a week normally. Over the weekend I really fancied some bacon frazzles so I picked up a couple of massive bags while shopping. Much to both our disgusts we sat and ate the whole lot last night, totally out of character.
We have also been drinking more - we rarely touch spirits but have got in the habit of having a scotch or Brandy or two late afternoon. No idea how that one crept in, but it is creeping out in disgracenasnwell.
I put on two pounds last week and I fully expect the same this week.
Determined to get back to normal now, it seems so easy to think 'does it really matter'.
So -easy to let things slip - I want to be in great shape when we come through this. And we will.
Don't tell
@Pow-Lo ...I even dusted down the weights this afternoon and will start using them again in the morning.
If I can be arsed, that is....
