Lorraine and I are still planning on going in September - (we're on holiday 13-27 September). We'll probably go for a long weekend as we're still "virgins" when it comes (oops!) to travelling abroad: but, if you "know the ropes" (heh-heh!), maybe we could stretch (aa-rghh) the procceedings to last for a week.

Any ruffty-tuffty-been-there-seen-that-got-the-tee-shirt-Francophile who'd like to break us in (oo-ERR-rrr, missus!) figurativelyspeaking - please let us know so's we can bathe in the glory of your wisdom :bow:

3.....Their beer is shite !!!!!

Go one both... just do it... Jan & I are off to Germany again next week...down to about 40 miles from the Czech republic border... Quite a good old run for us oldies, but you & Loraine should have not probs with the froggies (oops !! Sorry pierre, no offense intended mate.) I believe they do a quite reasonable bottle of plonk :beer:
