Not exactly a straight swap in the end. The shocking state of the wiring system made me buy a new box for that as well. On inspection some of the old wires weren't actually secured!
You need a 4-core flexible cable to the cylinder stat, some need an earth, some don't.
Terminal 2 which you havn't used should be connected to that no.2 spare terminal on the wiring centre.
Job done @tu*
I used the 3 core wire from the stat that was already in place - the one coming in on the left of the old wiring centre. Shall I go figure out what the previous monkey used them for instead of assuming they were as I used them?
Oh, had a brainwave and looked up the manufacturer's information sheet on it. Doh! http://www.uk-plumbing.com/brochure/drayton/HTS3Install.pdf
Double insulated so earth not required. Guess I have to turn all my gadgets off again and rewire that later. Gah!
Ok done. Terminal 2 (Satisfied) was the green and yellow. It's correct now. Thanks for that Marcus! I guess it would never be satisfied and keep heating or something?
