I'm quite interested in these bar risers, so I will be watching this thread closely for more information. I'm in the USA, so I hope that won't be an issue in obtaining a set when they are available.
I wonder about the comment about removing the fork caps for the installation of the risers. On the XX, are the caps just covers or are they, like many bikes, actually holding the fork springs in place?

Pete they look very interesting indeed, is it poss to post a shot of the fork extensions, without the bars on thanks.
Also can you give us the run down of the rest of your setup i.e. screen, heated grips etc, cheers

I got all the height that I wanted by installing a set of VTEC VFR bars on top of a set of GenMar Risers.
I had enough length in the hoses because I'd replaced them when I de-linked my brakes.

blkbrdrydr, have you droped the forks as they recomend or are you just relying on the pinch bolt squeezing the cap they supply and the top of the fork?

The Genmar risers are only 3/4" in height. That leaves plenty of fork tube available for the pinch bolts to squeeze. I was never interested in changing the handling of the Bird by dropping the fork tubes.
Here in the U.S. many XX owners just raise their OEM bars 3/4" with no problems just to save on the cost of purchasing higher bars.
There is actually very little difference in adding the additional 3/4" of height to the VFR bars. Sometimes I remove the risers and sometimes I have them in place.
