Unwanted Womens Leather Trouser ?????

Anyone have a decent pair of leather trousers that the wife / girlfriend no longer uses? (Sorry, that assumes that there are no female 'bird members, which of course there may be so my apologies for that...no offence intended)

Been looking for some for my girlfriend, but as only an occasional pillion can't justify ?120+ on something that may only be worn a few times a year. (and she would rather spend it on shoes anyway...)

Size 16 - 18, leg around 30 - 32 preferably.

Got some, but they will probably be too big!!!! they were tight on me as a 20. They are Bikers Paradise, and can measure them tomorrow though - will let you know exact sizes then.

Hi there - Sorry about the delay, I got distracted!!

I think these might be a bit huge!!!

Measured the inside of the waist, 42 ins (has stretchy panel in the back of the waist)
Hip - 47 ins (stretchy panels down both sides of the hip)
Inside leg 28 ins

Make and model is Bikers Paradise Ladies Stealth Jeans

They have gel armour over hips and knees, reinforced bum (!!!)
Leather elasticated panels on Hips, above knees, in waist band and below it

Link to their site below so you can see proper spec if you are interested!! But like I say, I suspect they will be a bit big!! (although perfect to put jeans underneath!!)

Just found a label inside saying they are a size 22 - which means they are a very small 22!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So your lady might not be impressed if you offer her those ?? !!!!

Sorry to ask another question, and I take your point about insulting my other half...but I know from my own experience in buying biking stuff that the sizes are often different from the ones in the high street. Anyway, if she usually wears either a 16 or 18 jeans / skirt / trousers (depending on which shop it's bought from), in your female experience, are these going to be way too big? Given that a normal pair of jeans will PROBABLY but not always be worn underneath?

I see - the cowards way out " SHE TOLD ME THEY'D BE FINE!!!"!!!!!!!!! :p

To be honest I have no idea!! With jeans under I should think they would be fine. Without, they would probably be a bit loose.

If you haven't found any by after the 12th June, I have to go to Pulborough, so could meet up so you guys can see them?

Hello mate,i have a pair of trousers made by 'Rhino' which my mate asked me to try and sell for him as his missus prefers the textile ones.They are size 16 and the inside leg meaures 30",they look almost new having only been worn a couple of times.They don't have armour fitted but are padded at the hips and knees.He's after ?25 for them if your interested and whatever it would cost for postage or if you wanted to see them i'm in Southend if your up this way anytime.Cheers. 'morning Kev. Thanks for the post. Would be interested in your mates trousers, they seem more like what I am after...you can prob tell from the above threads that the ones the lovely Smix has may not be quite the right size.


You are not that far from me, and I am luckily enough to have days off (work some nights / eve's in securtiy) so I would love to pop up and pick them up when it finally stops raining :cry: and we get a clear day.

No worries - you are better off getting some that fit her proper, you'd be in soooo much trouble if they were too huge!!!! :}
