Sorry Mr. ABBA, I mean Derek, what are you trying to convey to us?

If you go back to my first post on this thread you will see I made comparisons with things that were good in the 70's & no doubt if they re-ran the actual programmes we would watch them with fond memories, but remakes are just a poor imitation, just like when we hear certain songs from our youth they bring back memories & remind us of great times, but most of the time when groups re-form they are not as good as they were, I am not trying to deride anybody of the old school as I've said without them there wouldn't be Bird, all I am trying to do is point out that times move on & these days will one day be someone's fond memories.

I, for one, like looking back at things I used to enjoy and didn't reaslise how good they were at the time.:
So do I and there are some brilliant pictures on here & I will freely admit that some of Bert's posts and pictures are humorous.
I know, I'm old and have little to look forward to, except being an arse on here, so memories are important. :neenaw:
Age has nothing to do with it Barrie, we all have memories.

To be honest Derek, you can't exactly post from a position of strength - after all apart from attendance at a couple of "gigs", you've contributed fook all worthwhile to BIRD - thats bike related
Five bashes to be exact, & I will admit there are many on here far more knowledgeable than me when it comes to bikes & things mechanical, however it may come as a shock but there are other things in life than bikes
If I wanted to buy a horse - I'd go to a horse sale
I wouldn't you don't know what you're buying, if you want help buying a horse I will gladly point you in the right direction
If I wanted information about ink cartridges - I'd log onto an ink cartridge forum - yes there is one - google it
No need as I got some brilliant help from knowledgable people on here
If I wanted to sit on a forum site - all on my lonesome... I'd log onto IXXRA
I once tried it with a site called Bloggers but they rejected me as I was too interesting
But, as far as I can see, Mr Kelly has contributed fook all of any biking value in the 5+ years he's been a member
But I have met some great people & hope that they have enjoyed my company just as much as I've enjoyed theirs
Hmmmm... lets have a few more Old Skool Piccies eh?

Cracking Thread LOL
Two things there that we both agree on

I've read and read and read your response Mr Kelly

and I STILL come to the considered conclusion that you're STILL a boring old twat in desperate need of a life

Must be a Yorkshire thing eh? Although I did once, just once meet an interesting bloke from Yorkshire - but that was North Yorkshire - they're different up there

Nope - no matter how I look at it - you're still a twat

Yes - really

Old? think you'll find I'm younger than you. desperate need of a life? LOL you couldn't comprehend how great my life is, I'm even enjoying my employment

That just about sums it up, you stereotype people rather than individualise them, for example Gypsy, cyclops, chunky, Rolfy, villager, & many others are midlanders but they are nothing like you.

Your opinion feller & not one that I'll lose any sleep over, nor will I bear you any ill will over it.
take care, ride safe, & keep taking decent piccies

Think you'll find it spelt "fella" or is it "fellah"?

Certainly not "feller"

Enjoy your life :)
