Whenever I have wanted to buy decent clothes I've often gone to Greenwoods & enjoyed a bit of discount using their storecard & the blue light card, went in today for some clothes for my hols, looked at some smart trousers, the label inside said "BHS" fecking British home stores, gave them a miss, picked up a couple of t shirts, took them to the counter, bill has to be over £50 for a discount, produced blue light card, "sorry sir we no longer accept that" guess That's the last time I will shop there.

With House of Fraser being the latest retailer to hit the buffers you won't have anywhere to shop soon.

I don't get why if you like the trousers you wouldn't buy them beacause they (it?) had a BHS label?

For casual trews Regatta online is a decent shout. Decent quality and good price.
https://www.regatta.com/

Avoid their jackets at all costs- like boiling inside a plastic bag.

Simple reason for not buying them, I went into Greenwoods to buy Greenwoods clothes.

If you want Regatta stuff go to any motorhome or caravan show
There heavy fleece with the special clearance price ( 80% off ???? ) is about £25
At all the shows, £10 -£15
Various jackets about the same price
Standard fleece, £7.50

For Regatta I use Go Outdoors, no minimum spend for their storecard & they accept blue light card.

O why would anyone leave their house to go shopping?

Only Greenwood I know of is some tosser that used to chase eggs for Engurrrlund and then went on to become quite possibly the worst pundit in rugby history.

I get my trousers and work shirts made-to-measure out here. About £70, give or take, for cashmere blend trousers and about £60 for shirts.

As for the high street, I prefer the factory outlets. As long as you avoid weekends and school holidays, they're not littered with steak and kidney lock openers. The American ones are so much better though but finding someone who speaks in English in the Florida outlets is a bit of a nuisance.

Exercise.
Try before buy.
Check quality of goods
Etc
I rest my case.

You forgot to add "and at Bluewater or any other designer mall it is a chance for the mums to try and look like their teenage daughters when they go shopping with them"

You forgot to add "However, at Lakeside it's even worse; the women there try and look like their teenage granddaughters."
