The point is that you have as much idea as I have what is true here ie bugger all. Whatever anyone thinks of Schofield he is entitled to a’fair trial’. Seems to me his relationship with his family is his business and he is castigated for being bi/homosexual.

It's an odd one, this.

I've been saying for years that Schofield is gay. Mrs P would sometimes leap to his defence and state that he's married with two kids (like that's ever made a difference) and then he finally came out. On that basis alone, he's a devious little wanker and I hope his wife sues him down to his vest. The embarrassment and humiliation she must feel is beyond imagination. Unless, of course, she knew all along............

As for the other 'insinuations' and 'rumours', half of it is likely to be horseshit but there's no smoke without fire. However, he remains innocent until proven guilty. Meanwhile, back in the real world, whether he's guilty or not will depend on which social media outlet has the most money behind its agenda.
