Hey there lads, lasses and others...

Me being new (ish) to the Blackbird and all I thought it would be good to get out this weekend and see if mayeb I could meet up with a few otehr like minded B'bird owners. So if anyone is around either this Sat or Sun and would like to meet anywhere between Woking and Brighton (maybe Box Hill, Berry Hill or New Lands corner would be good) I would gladly meet anyone for a lesurly ride through hopefully the sun capped hills of the South UK.

So if anyone is there who would like to meet me (2000 Blackbird in Blue) either post here or email at asaunders13@hotmail.com.

I hope that someone / anyone is up for it as I know I am ....... good to meet new faces and see other bikes I guess.

Much obliged

Andy

Will be out and about this weekend, weather permitting of course.

Given the forecast for Sunday, suggest we meet Saturday. Ben & I will be at Newlands by about 2.00 if you or anyone else fancies meeting up. My mobile number is 07831 591627.

Aha.................

now I remember where it is!!!! Ta muchly.

Now the big question is.............is this going to be a fast rideout?

Because I have to make the decision as the whether or not to come on my own bike or not. I am not fast, speedlimits only at present, unless its a long long straight bit!!!

So, I either lag behind or i sit pillion on Dereks Bird.......ooer!

Time wise

Joeboy and mi good self are going for a test ride courtesy of my local BMW dealer(Cos I love the big R 1150 GS Adventure trailie) @ 11/11.30 in the morning. So I think we'll probably get to newlands for the 1.30/2 ish mark.
How does that sound ?

If I get a tow behind the bird it will be 9am.

However, more realistically we should be there between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

Ben has promised to ride at 30mph all the time so that I don't get lonely!!!!!! :k

If anything changes I shall post on here or ring Joeboy on his mobile on the day.

I think Ben is going to bring his crayons so he can colour in my bike a bit

Do ya' go straight down the A29 to Berry from Box? I did for years, however there is a far more interesting route that is not known by the masses and is never populated by plod. But if ya really fancy a ride-out join us on one of our breakfast runs down to Goodwood from Boxhill (once the weather improves a little of course) :yo:
